KACC is part of Konsortium KPE undertaking development of the Pan Borneo Highway Sarawak from Sg. Tangap to Pujut Link Road in Miri, northern Sarawak (Length 79.9km). With a contract value of RM1.825 billion, the project commenced in 2017. Works is divided into 3 sections, with a project inventory that includes 8 bridges, 4 interchanges at Miri Airport, Pujut Link, Beluru Junction and Bekenu Junction), 1 Rest and Service area, 7 pedestrian bridges, 64 bus shelters and 30 P-turns. Leveraging technology in highway construction across the asset life cycle – from design & planning, construction, to operation & maintenance – allowed the team to identify clashes in design, to better coordinate design and monitor progress of construction, and ensure data integrity in preparation for asset management. With a contract value of RM1.825 billion, the project commenced in 2017.
