Beginning as an electrical contracting company in 1993, Shorefield has grown to become a reputable Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor. Shorefield is a pioneer and market leader in Rural Electrification Scheme (RES) projects – connecting over 90,000 houses across Sarawak with uninterrupted power supply as part bringing ‘light’ to rural communities.
Thirty years later, Shorefield continues to evolve. From mainly distribution-level works, the Company is building capacity and capabilities in transmission-level works and construction of substations. Its services include IT hardware and software supply and leasing, Building Information Modelling (BIM), Internet of Things (IoT), big data analytics and LoRaWan.
Shorefield has also expanded into the renewable energy sector with installation of solar projects, electric vehicle charging stations, and smart hybrid solutions and generators.
