In 2015, Konsortium URW was awarded contracts by various Sarawak contractors to undertake Utility Relocation Works for electricity, water and telecommunication in the development and upgrading of the Pan Borneo Highway Sarawak project spanning 764km across
Sarawak.

The Pan Borneo Highway project presented a myriad of challenges – traversing the length of the vast state of Sarawak, across urban and rural areas, in flat and hilly terrain, in hard stable environments and soft ground. Utility relocation required detailed planning and design, efficient coordination, building trust and gaining cooperation from various stakeholders, as well as effective communication which is crucial for smooth implementation of works.
