One of KACC Construction’s current projects is Sejingkat Bridge. Spanning 1.3 km across Sarawak River in Kuching, the future bridge will be part of the Sarawak coastal road network connecting Kota Samarahan to Sejingkat and will address traffic congestion.
Sejingkat Bridge will be a cable-stayed bridge with 14 piers along with 2 diamond-shaped pylons soaring 94m above the bridge deck. Symbolic Burung Kenyalang structures will flank both ends of the bridge to instill a sense of place and belonging in Sarawak.
Construction of Sejingkat Bridge began in 2021. Coupled with a surrounding road network, the project is expected to be completed in 2025.
